A. No. Hatchling release season is from August to February/March.

Q. How old do I have to be to volunteer?
A. At least 18.

Q. Is there a fee to volunteer?
A. A donation is required to cover room and board expenses. Contact us for specific information.

Q. Is the area safe?
A. Playa Blanca is a safe area.

Q. How do I find out hatchling release dates?
A. Check our Facebook page for postings.

Q. Is it possible to participate as a group or family in night patrolling?
A. Yes. Guided groups are allowed. Contact us for more details.

Q. What are the lodging options?
A. Volunteers can either stay in tents by the beach or in the cabin, which is included in the fee. Volunteers or anyone in the general public can rent the Casa de la Tortuga ( Part of the funds for staying in the Casa de la Tortuga will be used for the preservation of the turtles!
